Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Wordwall Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

Abstract

Research on the influence of the Problem Based Learning model  assisted by Wordwall media on the mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students is still limited. The low mathematics learning outcomes and the lack of optimal student involvement in the learning process show the need for the application of an innovative learning model supported by interesting media. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model  assisted by Wordwall media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 26 Cakranegara. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design  of the non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 55 students, namely 28 students in grades IV-B as the experimental class and 27 students in grades IV-A as the control class. The data collection technique used tests and observations. The research data was first tested through a prerequisite test which included a normality test and a homogeneity test. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using an independent sample t-test hypothesis test and  an effect size test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 83.93 higher than the control class of 65.63. The results of the hypothesis test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of < 0.001 so that there was a significant difference between the mathematics learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The results of the effect size test  using Cohen's d obtained a value of 1.93 which is included in the category of very high influence. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that  the Problem Based Learning model  assisted by Wordwall media has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 26 Cakranegara
